Swedish duo Swim are currently sharing their new single entitled ‘Be There’ - the first to be heard from the pair - since they introduced themselves with two very accomplished singles (‘Next To Me’ + ‘Lying To You’) towards the end of last year. Creating a warm and alluring soundscape, dashed with a touch of Swedish melancholy, the contrasts of intimacy and distance are depicted through playful, melodic synths; a thick, funk-leaning rhythm section and Erika Rosén’s heavy-hearted vocals. Swim have conspired to create music for late evenings, precious moments of solitude, drives along the coast and the last throbbing hour on the dance floor.
